HSBC Malta Property Expo highly commended at International Awards

London, 23 Oct 2009 - The HSBC Malta Property Expo held for the first time last February, received the highly commended award in the exhibition category at the OPP Industry Awards. These prestigious awards, organised annually during OPP LIVE are considered to be the most respected in the industry and are followed by more than 83,000 property professionals around the world. The OPP is the only trade magazine / event (OPP LIVE) and web site dedicated for overseas property agents, developers and associated professionals.

“We are thrilled by this accolade, as it is a major endorsement from our peers”, said Keith Pillow, Managing Director of Duplex Real Estate Branding - the company that organises the Malta Property Expo. The judging panel remarked that standards were much higher than previous years, and they described Duplex REB as “a dynamic company that tried and successfully created an expo in Malta that attracted an impressive 6,000 visitors.” For the organisers the award is a confirmation of success for the level and quality of the stands, seminars and other activities. “When considering the large number of professional property shows that exist in other countries, this award for the first Malta Property Expo really means a lot to us. Our show was judged to be the second best show after A Place In The Sun, whilst third place went to a property Expo in Ukraine” – Keith Pillow added. 

The widespread international exposure that is being generated by this news is expected to continue putting the company and Malta’s real estate industry on the international property map, and assist in promoting the event on a global scale.
